Saxophonist Darren Motamedy has been a prominent figure in the Smooth Jazz scene since 1989. His debut album, “First Generation,” not only reached the top 20 on Radio and Records but also made its mark on the Billboard Charts. This success paved the way for subsequent albums, including “Square One,” “Dangerously Close,” “It’s All Good,” “Intimate,” “Relax Your Mind,” “Peace,” “The Best of Darren Motamedy,” “Don’t Cha Know,” “Gruv Horn,” “All About Love,” and “Live a Special Day.” His current project, a tribute to jazz from the 60s and 70s titled “Distant,” and the recent beautiful spiritual recording “Grateful” further showcase his talent.
In 2009, his CD “Don’t Cha Know” achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the #1 Jazz Album of the year within a market of over 250,000 listeners, and it secured the #4 position among Jazz albums for Indie artists.

Billboard Artist D.S. Wilson is a Top 25 Seattle-based multi-instrumental jazz musician, specializing in saxophones and piano/keyboards. As an indie artist, Wilson stands out as a composer, recording artist, producer, and performer, with four albums released and a fifth album currently underway. He logs over 40 performances each year, captivating audiences with his smooth jazz sound. Feature - Nathan Samuelson
Nathan Samuelson’s love of music and entertaining is palpable. His sound seamlessly blends the smooth melodies of the past with the hipness of the present; while rooted in jazz, Nathan also incorporates a pop/rock sensibility that resonates with indie artists and listeners alike. On his musical pilgrimage, he studied under master teacher Dominic Spera, known as the lead trumpet player for Henry Mancini and Burt Bacharach. Moreover, he has shared the stage with world-class artists like the late soul icon Clem Curtis of ‘Build Me Up, Buttercup’ fame and has recorded with Phil Lovett, the CEO of P. Lovett Productions who has worked with legends like Stevie Wonder and Brian McKnight, as well as producer and sound engineer Jason Anderson, associated with New Edition and Motown Records. Nathan has also performed alongside piano virtuoso Senator Tommy Banks, recognized as David Foster's mentor, and shared the stage with Juno award-winning jazz musician PJ Perry. Recently, he recorded with the Latin Grammy-nominated Negroni jazz trio from Puerto Rico. In August 2018, after dedicating nearly two decades to his craft, Nathan proudly launched his genre-blending masterpiece, debut album 'City Lights Ahead.' This work serves as a heartfelt love letter to the open sea, his close-knit family, and his personal journey in search of love, meaning, and self-discovery. Nathan demonstrates not only that he is a world-class musician but also a world-class composer who captures the essence of smooth jazz, leaving listeners with the starry embrace of the shore after a dark, stormy night, making him a perfect feature for any online radio station like SJBR.live or a Seattle radio station.
